Poster
Contest Rules and Information
The
Underwater Intervention Committee has come to realize that the
poster design used to commemorate each annual show presents a
unique opportunity and initiative to those who may have an interest
in art, and the ability to develop graphics that will be shown
on posters and t-shirts throughout many areas of our world.
Commencing on 14 February, 2005 a poster contest will commence
under the following guidelines:
All submissions must be received by 12 July 2005 at the offices
of the Association of Diving Contractors International, 5206 FM1960
West, Ste. 202, Houston, TX 77069.
The winner and runner-up will be announced not later than 17 October,
2005.
The elements of design required are:
1. The design must include the words “Underwater Intervention
2006”, the ADCI logo, the MTS/ROV Committee logo, and the
UI logo.
2. The design must be representative of the Underwater Industry
comprising elements of at least commercial diving and
Remote Operated Vehicles.
3. The finish dimensions of the original artwork must be
18 inches by 24 inches.
4. Submission must be original artwork or graphics ready
for digitizing.
5. Submission must be accompanied by a copyright release
document.
Multiple
entries will be accepted.
No restrictions are placed on who can enter.
All entries submitted will be displayed at UI2006.
The winner of this contest will received the sum of $500.00
and
the runner-up the sum of $250.00.
